Arts for All, located in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, provides enriching musical opportunities to individuals throughout the northern tier of Pennsylvania and southern tier of New York State. The company is owned and operated by Julie Schlosser, a board certified music therapist. Services provided by Arts for All include early childhood music classes, private music lessons, and music therapy.
Active involvement in music, as well as other fine arts, has been proven time and again to increase the quality of life for individuals of many different ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We don't only listen to music with our ears, but experience it's texture and rhythmn through our bodies, feel it's moods and nuances emotionally, and cognitively relate images and memories to the sounds we hear. This unique ability to affect the whole self makes music an especially valuable modality for elliciting positive change, whether it be in a therapeutic or educational environment. This philosophy is the cornerstone of all of our programs.
